OMED Equipment Compendium
The OMED Equipment Compendium will provide a global online listing of all available endoscopic equipment and endoscopic accessories for easy reference. At present, there is no "one-stop shop" available where endoscopists can review the complete list of available equipment and accessories. This planned compendium will provide endoscopists with a unique resource when they are considering the purchase of new equipment and wish to review the current spectrum of items available. The compendium will not attempt to compare equipment but will list the main features of each item and provide contact information for the relevant supplier. Each chapter will include short comments on the method or new equipment and major references will be selected. The final product will be a dynamic global database serving as a central point for any endoscopist wishing to purchase new equipment in the field of endoscopy.
